“After getting quotes of bank busting estimates, I was referred to Shifters for my transmission repair. Steve took my information on my 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 and on the spot gave me a quote THOUSANDS less than the others. When I picked my truck up they were right on the money. A week later I had serious issues with some front end work and again Steve quoted me a price THOUSANDS under. Not only did they get the repair done quickly but found a few things that needed attention and went ahead and fixed them. No. Charge. “Brought my 2005 hyundai elantra to them for a fluid and filter change. The work was completed within 2 hours. The price was exceptionally reasonable. My transmission shifts as smooth as silk now. “I purchased a truck that soon after had a transmission problem and did not even the correct trans it was supposed to have. I asked around and was referred to Shifters by a couple people. They obtained the right one for my truck and did a very good job! The price was right as well! I banged on this transmission hard!! From the day I got it back from them I was manual shifting it doing burnouts and everything else that usually shortens the life of any trans. Its out lived 3 motors and a rearend. I had Shifters build this trans back in 2005! 13 years of abuse and still going strong!”

“They completely rebuilt the transmission on my 2005 Crew Cab Nissan Frontier. A water cooling line had broken inside the transmission, doing the damage that required a full rebuild. I had them replace the front rotors and pads as well, which was an additional fee, but very reasonable at only $120
Everything seems great on the truck so far. I will use them again if i need any heavy work done to either of my cars”

“Did the rebuild, with new torque converter, in one and one-half days (They estimated 3 days). Price was OK, and they honored the 5% discount coupon from Angie's List. This saved me $75 bills, which filled the gas tank and left change for fajitas de carne and a frosty Dos XX at the Mexican joint down the street..
The truck has 188,000 miles, and with this rebuild, I may be able to get 300,000. The owner and his mechanics, some of whom were trained by General Motors, know their stuff and work fast. The shop is busy, so it's best to schedule for the first of the week.”
